Job Description

Measurement & Automation Technician in upstream and midstream oil & gas industry. This position will be responsible for correctly calibrating and documenting flow meter equipment and ensure proper operation. Installing and troubleshooting many types of devices such as flow computers and various liquid and gas measurement devices. Tests, calibrates, operates, maintains, inspects electronic, mechanical flow meters and obtain gas samples. Communicate at a technical level and interface with customers, measurement, operations and engineering groups.  Assist in field and/or pipeline operations and maintenance functions. Utilize basic computer skills to use e-main, meter test , data collection software, hardware and complete electronic reports. Adaptability is critical to be able to change and grow with this rapidly progressing industry.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 year of work-related experience  

• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company.

• Ability to work well with others and effectively communicate in a team environment to accomplish customer and team goals.

• Strong work ethic and ability to operate with minimal supervision.

• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.

• Minimum basic electrical skills and familiarity with Ohm's Law

• Experience with the software, hardware and PLCs.

Required Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• Must speak write and read English fluently.

• Preferred 2 year technical college education
